JOSEFIN
The Teknikdalen Foundation and its international
partners in the EU have been granted a budget of €4.1 million for an international business development project for small businesses. Partners from countries around the Baltic Sea will
collaborate on the JOSEFIN project. The project begins in 2009 and will run
for three years.
Small and medium sized businesses are very important for increased growth, development and employment in Europe. Many want to establish themselves in new markets but find it difficult to find adequate financing for expansion.
One of the goals of the JOSEFIN project is to improve access to capital for international businesses and co-operation for small- and medium-sized businesses, and in this way open up opportunities for expansion and establishment in international markets. Currently, financial institutions throughout the EU offer different possibilities and resources. JOSEFIN would like to make these more accessible to small and medium sized businesses in the Baltic Sea region.
